Project Overview

Conversation and reflection series with an African-American author Kassim Abdur Razzaq.

Program 1:
Author will have a conversation with his teenage son and share the book authored by him in this intimate and timely book based conversation of what it means to be a black. Author introduces his book 5 Essential Principles for Healing Black Men and Raising Black Boys, followed by short reading and reflection of lessons, values, experiences, and creative inspiration to his book.

Program 2: Black Child Run" book read aloud
Author will read his children book Black Child Run with his young son, provide discussion relating to book and have activities that families can utilize.
