Participants interact one-on-one with an artist, sometimes on more than one occasion, allowing them to engage more significantly with the featured art technique and the artist teaching it.

434 creators ages 3-18 in 21 events worked with local artists to discover their technique or medium in both brief drop-in sessions and more intensive 1-2 hour workshops. Artists taught mosaic art, puppet making, pottery, drawing & book arts, clay sculpture, and creative writing. Comments included It encouraged us to be creative in making new things, and my son has wanted to learn how to make [an animation flip book] and had so much fun.
