Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Residents of all ages -- from children to elders -- will come together to read and discuss the Read Brave collection of books, consider the impact of climate change locally and globally, and participate in programs to include: writing, art, film, volunteering, and speakers.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants reported a positive experience connecting with the Read Brave theme of "Our Climate Crisis" and appreciated the opportunity to not only be exposed to documentaries that addressed the topic in unique and thoughtful ways, but the chance to have a facilitated conversation afterwards. Particularly praised was the collaboration with Climate Generation, The Science Museum, and the District 10 Como Community Council. Multiple attendees said they would welcome more opportunities to delve into conversations on this topic and others at the library. All told 64 attendees were able to consider Climate Change's impact and discuss their thoughts with other members of their community.
