Community members will meet local author Kaethe Schwehn and hear her speak about her post-apocalyptic science fiction novel, The Rending and the Nest. Participants will learn about the writing process, Schwehn's literary influences, how she developed as an author. Through this shared experience, participants will develop a deeper appreciation for the literary arts and gain inspiration for their own writing endeavors.
