Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will learn the techniques of origami, paper marbling and creating sculptural books while creating a project to take home. They will be inspired to gain more information and extend arts projects at home.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned a variety of paper craft techniques, including origami, card-making, book-making, and paper marbling. The responses to surveys were overwhelmingly positive, with nearly all respondents indicating that they were "highly inspired" or "inspired by the classes," and the majority indicating that their knowledge of the crafts increased "quite a bit" or "completely" as a result of the classes. One attendee said they "liked the freedom to try new things without judgment." Another respondent said, "I am grateful to [the library] for giving me this wonderful cultural art experience. I would like to take this class again."
