Project Overview

Local artists will work together in the new Create Space at the RH Stafford Library to transform existing artwork and create a variety of original digital art pieces using Wacum Creative Tablets and Adobe Creative Cloud. A teaching artist will provide instruction over a 3 course series:
Week 1: Learn the basics of Photoshop and get finer control on a tablet to optimize your art. Compose digital paintings and transform your existing art to take it to a new level.
Week 2: Curious about Illustrator? Test new typography, update your own logo, and edit freehand drawings for mobile screens, printed pieces, social media, and more.

Week 3: Need help with a layout? Learn about InDesign and edit your own magazines, flyers, stationery, and books. We'll mainly use the Mac stations, but tablets will be available to continue work from previous weeks.
