Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants gain competence in floral design and acquire the skills to create floral pieces both during and after the workshop.

Measurable Outcome(s)

An experienced floral designer led 148 participants through the process of designing and creating their own fresh floral corsage and/or boutonniere. Two of the five workshops were held in local high schools, which enabled teens at that school to participate onsite between classes and during breaks.
8 out of 8 survey respondents in library workshops indicated "Strongly Agree" when asked if their understanding of corsage making increased due to the program. Participants responded positively, including one who said that what they liked best about the program was that "It was free and that the end product looks really professional!"
