zAmya Theater: Learn performance skills, create skits and songs, and tell your story. All are welcome. People who've experienced homelessness especially encouraged to attend.

Yellow Tree Theater: Enacted excerpts from the play, Skeleton Crew with explanation by the director.

zAmya Theater: Participants will perform at least two theater improvisation games (e.g. Zip Zap Zop). Participants will share at least one idea or suggestion to be integrated into the day's workshop or the script being written, as applicable.

Yellow Tree Theater: Patrons will identify one issue that faced African American workers during the Great recession. Patrons will identify the part of the program that helped them understand inequality themes in the play. Patrons will be able to understand the value of theater in exploring social problems.

Measurable Outcome(s)

zAmya Theater: 82% of participants met outcome performed improvisation games. 86% of participants shared one idea to be incorporated in the day's theater workshop or script.

Yellow Tree Theater: 72% of participants identify one issue that African American workers faced during the Great Recession. But 92% gained a better understanding of the value of theater in exploring social problems and rated the quality of the program as Excellent.
