For spoken word workshops: Patrons will have an opportunity to interact with another performer and writer from the Minneapolis spoken word community. Patrons will receive encouragement to continue their writing and performing. For writing workshops: patrons will learn about the experiences of other living in our community. Patrons will receive encouragement to continue writing after the workshop. Patrons will have the opportunity to interact with fellow writers about their own personal experience.

Measurable Outcome(s)

For the spoken word events:
100% had the opportunity to interact with another performer or writer from the Minneapolis community.
95% received encouragement to continue their writing and performing.

For the author event:
100% learned about the works and experiences of the guest authors. 100% learned about an author who is new to them. 100% connected with books, stories and community.
