For Forever Music: Engaging music and cultural learning programs where patrons have the opportunity to interact with professional musicians and make music in a group.

For MnSpin Live: A music performance by local musicians of a wide array of genres.

For Forever Music: Patrons will experience music. Patrons will learn about the history of music or instruments played.

For MnSpin Live: Patrons will learn about a local musician that is new to them. Patron will plan to use HCL's MnSpin to listen to local music after the show.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Forever Music: 100% of participants experienced local music. 98% learned about the history of music or instruments played. 91% rated the program as excellent. Comments include: "Excellent, educational, very interesting" and Nina Simone has always fascinated me. MacPhail teacher did a great job presenting musical styling" and "Loved perspective of the artist on another artist - she was terrific!"

Mn Spin: 87% of participants learned about a new local musician. 69% plan to use HCL's MnSpin to listen to local music. 69% rated the program "excellent" and 31% rated it "good." Comments include: "Events like these are so important to communities, this was a lot of fun" and "I loved that they were here. Not really my regular avenue of listening to good music. Maybe I will see them again, somewhere in Minnesota."
