Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The program will provide opportunities for artistic expression in project based crafts. Children will be inspired, gain information and gather ideas for extending art projects at home.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees had the opportunity to work with fiber arts for a variety of craft projects. According to the Project Outcome surveys distributed at each event, 100% of attendees felt more confident about what they learned, 66% were more aware of resources and services provided by the library, and 67% felt they learned something that was helpful.

One participant said that they were "fascinated about how you can decorate almost anything with [embroidery], like pictures and how you can turn them into a work of art." Another participant said that they loved 'meeting new people." Yet another participant said that the program "was a good experience and fun to try something new."
