Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will experience art and music up close and hands on, meeting the artists and engaging in other related arts & literature activities.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Articipate artists and musicians interacted with the community at seven end of summer parties, a Harry Potter birthday party for teens, and seven library 50th anniversary events. Musicians at four events provided live music in an intimate and engaging space, and artists at 11 events helped participants create their own art project and to understand more about their artistic process and medium. La Luchadora screen printing provided a special cultural connection with some of our Spanish-speaking and immigrant participants. Some participants stayed much longer than the typical time required for the project: We had a regular patron who is developmentally delayed who was absolutely thrilled to be part of the making and stayed the whole time?
