Project Overview

This popular annual series offers hands-on arts workshops for preschoolers. This year's line-up will include facilitators from KidCreate Studio, the American Swedish Institute, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, East Side Arts Council, Art Start, ARTrageous Adventures, Steppingstone Theater, and School of Rock. Children will create various art projects, learn about different cultures and art forms, and interact with other participants and facilitators.

Participants will experience hands-on art projects, which will help them develop fine motor skills, encourage self expression, promote innovation and creativity, and help them to socialize with others.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Guests reported that the program facilitators were wonderful with kids and they appreciated that the art projects were those that very young participants can actually do. Everyone indicated that they would like to see more art programs for kids at the Library.
