Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will learn about mosaics, printmaking, pottery and mandalas in these workshops and will create a project that they can bring home. They will be inspired, gain information and gather ideas on extending the art projects at home.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned about a variety of art mediums, including mosaic, printmaking, and drawing mandalas. They received the basic knowledge necessary to recreate these projects at home. The vast majority of participants surveyed indicated that they were inspired by the classes, and learned new things, both about the art itself and about the library's resources. Standout comments: "I will go home and teach my mom and my brother how [to make mandalas]." Another participant said, "The instructor was very knowledgeable and made [me] want to try new things and not worry about making a mistake." Another participant said that they "will be buying supplies to try more at home."
