Project Overview

Participants will focus mainly on the printing aspect, using pre-cut silicone and linoleum block made or purchased by the instructor. If desired, thin foam printing material may be used by the student if they wish to create a quick, simple design of their own. Different methods of transfer will be taught as well as encouragement of creativity while exploring colors. Each student will take home 10 printed cards with envelopes.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will learn the basics of how to make their own hand printed cards.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants enjoyed working with a new artistic process, unfamiliar to most of the class. One patron said it helped her with time management and going with where her "creative ideas were going." (Not rethinking her project.) Participants were very pleased with their take home projects.
