Project Overview

Students will learn the enjoyable process of mosaic art by designing a picture or pattern on a small frame. They will learn how to cut and glue glass on the frame. They will also learn the process of grouting but the instructor will do the actual grouting for the student to pick up the finished project at a later date. All supplies will be provided.

Participants will learn the art medium of mosaic tiling. They will have a hands-on experience of designing and creating their own piece of art work using mosaic tiles.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants had a wonderful time learning how to create mosaic tile patterns on frames and the steps in the mosaic process. They indicated this experience allowed them to release creativity and learn a new art form with others.
