Students will create wearable lapel pin, earrings, and hair accessory using colorful felt and simple embroidery hand sewing techniques. Teacher demonstrations, examples, and skill lessons will instruct students on creating various designs while leaving room for student creativity and exploration.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned how to make felt flowers, the techniques, and progression for choosing successful color combinations. One comment, "it was fun and relaxing, easier than it looked and aided me in finding my inner poof!
