Project Overview

Reverend Matt's Monster Science series of educational comedy shows have appeared at the Science Museum of MN, Minneapolis Institute of Art, and local theaters and conventions. Monster Science covers the general subject of monsters?including prehistoric animals, mythical creatures, movie monsters and more?and addresses a variety of scientific and cultural topics with sophisticated and family-friendly humor.
Rev. Matt will explore the varying perceptions of dinosaurs through time, from the reptilian lumberers?unfit to survive?of the olden days to the feathery, dynamic animals of today. Societal attitudes toward evolution in general informed early attitudes toward dinosaurs, but new fossil discoveries through the decades could only change these attitudes.
