Project Overview

The Textile Center will be presenting multiple workshops in Washington County including:
Best Friend Bracelets: It is a common belief that if you make a wish while putting on a friendship bracelet, and wear it until it falls off, your wish will come true! Bring your best friend, and learn how to create multiple styles of friendship bracelets by plying, braiding, and weaving with fun colors of yarn and thread.
and
Home Is Where the Heart Is: Decorate your walls with a memento of your favorite place, perfect to hang in your home or give to a friend. Discover different embroidery stitches and outline your favorite state with needle and thread. Then mark your special location with an embroidered heart, flower, or other icon.
