Kindergarten Card Party - LeUyen Pham
Ramsey County Library is hosting its annual Kindergarten Card Party. All kindergartners in suburban Ramsey County will receive an invitation to this event through their school, but everyone is welcome to attend this event to see award-winning author/illustrator LeUyen Pham. Ms. Pham will be giving three presentations to young readers about how she creates her stories and pictures, and how important the library and having a library card will be in their school careers.

LeUyen Pham will be presenting at our annual Kindergarten Card Party, which is our flagship event of the programming year. Kids will come away with not only their new library cards, but also having has a wonderful event to get to know the library and find out everything the library has to offer them as they start their academic career!
From an article written by our children's librarians in a library services journal: "Take one Caldecott Honor winner and add scores of kindergarteners. Throw in an effort to sign up more library users. Toss in a bunch of enthusiastic volunteers. That's the recipe for Ramsey County (MN) Library's (RCL) recent Kindergarten Library Card Party." We were very grateful to be able to host LeUyen Pham and share her diverse work with our community.
