Come explore the versatile and fun medium of watercolor pencils while creating a beautiful landscape image of a botanical garden! Teacher discussions and demonstrations will introduce basic drawing techniques with watercolor pencils and crayons including layering color, creating texture, shading, and fine details. We will also practice finding relationships between objects, using positive and negative spaces, and rendering accurate proportions in our garden images.

Everyone loved it. Learned how to breakdown images by basic shapes to sketch. Learn art elements and basics of doing a watercolor pencil. Great fun - great class! Thank you so much for covering the "art elements" and helping with concepts I can take away. First experience with this medium - loved it.
