Project Overview

When the Environmental Protection Agency was established almost half a century ago under a Republican administration, scientists and government worked together to address the problems of pollution and other man-made hazards. In recent years, however, that once firm partnership has begun to erode. Join Deborah L. Swackhamer, Professor Emerita at the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health and Humphrey School of Public Affairs, for an eyewitness report on the increasingly problematic relationship between politics and science.
