Music Performance - Zachary Scot Johnson: Participants share music appreciation. Participants recognize the history of music.

Forever Music: Participants discuss the history of music. Participants compare music genres. Participants practice playing a musical instrument.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Forever Music lectures: Participants discussed the history of music and music genres, and learned the following: "Commonality Vibrations of composers e.s. AABBAA etc." and "The musical characteristics of the 3 tin pan composers discussed" and "Differences in musical styles" and "The dynamics between lyrics and music Structure of flamenco Use of monotone; I always thought singers using monotone were just not very good artist,, never thought about it being a choice." Forever Music Ukulele and Taiko Drumming Programs: After attending the program, participants learned the following: 97% learned about the different parts of the instrument, 100% played more than one chord, 59% learned how to play a simple song.

Music Performance: Participants learned something new about local music, including "How to do vibrato on a violin" and "[How] he gets his creation from" and "Harmony."
