Adult Theater Programs - Summer - Fall 2019
Act Out: Theater classes for all ages, with a variety of topics: creative movement, storymaking, storytelling, playmaking, acting games, musical theater, play reading, and voice and speech.
Yellow Tree Theater: Book and play discussion of "Curious Incidents of the Dog in the Night Time" with Ellen Fenster director of Yellow Tree Theatre's production by the same name.
zAmya Theater Project: weekly Creative Sessions with patrons experiencing homelessness. Workshops build theater skills and generate material towards a performance.

Act Out: Participants will learn more about theater and acting. Patrons will have the opportunity to try out acting.
Yellow Three Theater: Patrons will identify one theatrical technique that enhanced interpretation of the play's themes. Patrons will be able to state one value that theater and/or literature bring to a community
zAmya Theater Project: Patrons will learn about acting methods.
Act Out: Theater techniques practiced include: 66% of participants tried acting, 48% practiced voice projection, 29% storytelling, 33% play reading and 14% other (playing, movement, voice breathing). Comments include: "Good introduction to Shakespeare" and "Fun, educational, would attend more programs like this!"
Yellow Tree Theater: 89% of participants had a better recognition of theater's value after attending the program. Theater techniques that enhanced the program include: instructor served as narrator, actors followed the script rather than book, and technology and music.
zAmya Theater Project: Patrons learned about acting methods and performed for the general public.
