Project Overview

Kaleidoscope is a series of performing arts programs for preschoolers. Children will have an opportunity to see artists and performance styles from a variety of backgrounds, demonstrating that the arts are diverse and available to everyone. This year's performers include: Siama Matuzungidi from DR Congo, Afoutayi Haitian Dance, a hula dancer, the Minnesota Opera, and more!

Measurable Outcome(s)

Audience members reported that they loved this series and being exposed to multicultural ways of learning, art, and music. Hands-on programs, where they could tap, shake, and play with instruments, and those with interactive elements such as the hula dancer, were the most beloved by participants.
