Mural in Prior Lake Library
Local artist Greg Preslicka will design and complete a mural in the Children's Area of the Prior Lake Library, and give three presentations to the community on the mural process. The mural is a partnership with community organizations who will be paying for half the mural.

Children and adults in Prior Lake will experience the mural process as the artist works on the mural during open hours of the library. Children and adults will learn more about the art of mural painting during the scheduled presentations.
Greg Preslicka of Big Picture/Preslicka Studios worked with Prior Lake library staff to design and paint a mural for the Children's Area. Prior Lake Lions Club and Viking Winterfest contributed more than half the cost of the mural. Greg answered questions and talked with many of the more than 1300 people who visited the library during the 5-day painting process. 114 kids and adults had the opportunity to meet Greg and learn about the process at three public presentations Greg gave at that time.
