Audience will gain knowledge of the Vietnam War (the evacuation of Saigon). They will learn more about the political climate of the era; they will gain a greater appreciation and understanding for veterans of domestic and foreign wars.
Measurable Outcome(s)
The library received many good comments about the program, including from many new patrons. The director received a very nice personal compliment, during a city council meeting, for hosting the program. The audience was very engaged with questions and comments for the speaker. Many expressed interest in trying gardening with straw bales. Gardening books have now circulated well before and after the program.

Pipestone is included in the program contract; but Tracy's program will focus on the Vietnam War.
