The Trunk Show will incorporate all five practices that build early literacy skills and a strong foundation for reading: talking, singing, reading, writing and playing.

As educators, both the presenters seamlessly wove the projected outcomes into the presentation. Comments included, "Loved the focus on a variety of learning styles., "My kids will go home today and do their own puppet shows all afternoon," "It was exciting to meet the actual author and illustrators of this book." participant evaluations and anecdotal responses were collected.
