Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
Children will be exposed to a short play performed by three professional actors. They will be inspired to see a range of acting.
Measurable Outcome(s)
The performers used a small globe to show the children where Minnesota and where West Africa, where the tale originated, were on the globe. After the performance they asked if anyone remembered this information. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses were collected.
Source of Additional Funds
The Ivanhoe library set up the tour and the three libraries promoted each other's' program. The local newspaper printed a PSA for the program.
