The program presenters are members of the Ojibwe from Bad River and the Cherokee tribes. The program includes Native storytelling and dance programs in a one hour interactive program. Participants will learn Native dances and how to play a pow wow drum. The program will teach and celebrate the traditions and culture of local Native American tribes.

The community will learn about Cherokee and Ojibwe traditions as well as learn Native dances. Participant and anecdotal response will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned not only legends from both Native American cultures, but also learned how to play a pow wow drum. Participants also danced the Snake dance with Rona Johnston.
