Create an interest in attending the summer reading programs at the library.
Result in children reading throughout the summer.
Provide the opportunity to attend free artistic and educational programs which would not otherwise be available to local children.
Participant evaluation/surveys and anecdotal responses will be collected.
80% of the program evaluation forms returned stated that they strongly a greed that they would not have been able to have this experience without the support of the library.

The school provided its auditorium at no cost and allowed the children to attend the program during the school day. They also promoted the library's summer reading program.
