The younger children benefited from the program the most because the songs were geared toward younger kids. They also learned what an accordion is and what lederhosen are. Mike also had different hats that the children had to identify who they were such as railroad conductor, farmer, logger, pilot, etc. He referenced the library throughout his program promoting the use of the library and books that it had to offer. The adults who came also enjoyed the program.
The Star Herald and Announcer publicized the program at no charge.
K101 radio station announced the program at no charge.
