People will gain more information about loons and their habitats, learn about skills used in nature photography, become more interested in birding and nature around them, and see the library as a source of quality programming. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Stan Tekiela gave a great program on loons and those attending learned new facts from him. The patrons enjoyed that it was an interactive program.Several attending noted that they went to hear him speak at the other partnering libraries holding their programs that day.

Source of Additional Funds

The Ivanhoe and Tyler public libraries also had programs at this time and shared the mileage costs.
