Jellyfish Painting - Tammy Grubbs
Teens and tweens will be painting a jellyfish on an 11X14" canvas. The instructor will provide step by step instructions on painting with acrylics on canvas. Grubbs, a native of New Mexico, has been painting since she was five years of age. She is a nationally recognized teacher and lecturer who creates custom sets for theaters, murals, restaurants and coffee houses, and personal commissions. She will provide 3 sessions of classes, one at the Jackson library, and one each at the Lakefield and Heron Lake branches.

Teens and Tweens participating in the program will gain skill and knowledge in painting with acrylics. They will have the opportunity to get instruction from a nationally recognized artist. Anecdotal responses will be collected.
-This program was wildly popular. There was a waiting list of teens who wanted to join the fun but space was limited. They were extremely proud of their paintings and wanted to know when the library would be offering the class again.
