Project Overview
This is a one-hour long performance of Rumpelstiltskin. The performance contains audience interaction and fun stories with a positive moral message. The production is appropriate for all ages and is an adaptation from the well-known fairy tale. In a new spin on an old tale, the audience will learn that appearances can be deceiving and it isn't good to hold grudges.

The audience will be taught the fairy tale of Rumpelstiltskin and will be encouraged to realize that appearances can be deceiving and that it isn't healthy for anyone to hold a grudge.
Anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Many patrons showed interest in finding more fairy tales and similar literature at the library. The program clearly entertained and encouraged children and families. Several children made the comment that they enjoyed the theater performance aspect of the program.

"We come every year and every year it is just as good if not better."
