Judy Ostrowski is an artist and designer from Minneapolis whose program consists of education about the origins and culture of the ancient art form of henna. She demonstrates the application of the distinctive form of body art and participants are able to have unique henna art applied at no cost during the program.

Those who attend should come away with a knowledge of a unique form of art and its history. Attendees are able to have the artist create a henna tattoo for them and apply it during the program. Anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned a great deal about the history of henna and its use in many different cultures around the world.The artistcreated and applied an original henna tattoo on every person in attendance. All were pleased with the lovely detailed results.
