When Fact Meets Fiction - Dennis Herschbach
Minnesota author Dennis Herschbach presents a program that includes information about his writing process and how he takes real life situations to create a fictional story. He raises public awareness to societal problems through his writing. He will present programs at the Heron Lake and Lakefield branches of the Jackson County Library.

The audience will come away from the program with a greater understanding of the process of how the author writes his fiction books. Although they are fiction, much of what the story is based uponthings that havebeen in the news, which may lead an individual to change attitudes, beliefs or create a new interest in societal issues. Participant evaluation/anecdotal responses will be collected.
