Dr. Seuss in the Park-WhyNot Events!
This Dr. Seuss in the Park program featured an outdoor movie experience of "Horton Hears a Who" and was a part of a community celebration in the park. There was a costume contest, photo booth, lawn games, face painting, crafts and family swimming at the pool.
130 participated
The library is promoting "Horton Hears a Who" saying: "A person's a person, no matter how small...a community is a community no matter how small..." Teamwork and determination is a winning combination and we hope that combining our resources with other community members will make this evening a great event and instill pride in the community. Bringing everyone together will benefit everyone who participates by donating time, money or the enjoyment of the event. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.
This was a wonderful event that was free to all, thanks to ACHF and community donations. It is so important to offer these types of events because it brings people together for many reasons. "Wonderful night!", "Great fun!", "Thank you Legacy funds...", "Please do again!"
