Provide the opportunity to attend free artistic and educational programs which would not otherwise be available to children. Participant evaluation/surveys and anecdotal responses will be collected.
98% of the evaluations returned indicated they would not have been able to have this experience without the support of the library.
100% of the evaluations returned indicated they would attend another Legacy sponsored program if it was offered.
Gained knowledge about the many resources available at the library.
The school provided the use of the auditorium, allowed the children to attend during the school day, and promoted the library's summer reading program.
