This is a fun and entertaining talk presenting facts and tidbits about some of the birds that people love to hate. The author/photographer challenges preconceived ideas about these birds and conveys a message of conservation and understanding.

Providing information to help birds survive, i.e. habitat, food, etc. Inform attendees about the importance of conservation. Possibly inspire the organizing of a county-wide bird watching group.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Everyone learned many new attributes about local birds. there were members of an organized birdwatchers group in attendance who had traveled from as far as Fairmont, Jackson and Lakefield for the presentation. Also in attendance were two families of homeschoolers who added Stan's knowledge to their education. Participant evaluations were collected.
