One Book One County - Prairie Ecology Bus/Snowshoeing
The Redwood County libraries, Morgan, Wabasso, Lamberton and Redwood Falls, cooperated on a county read program based on the book, "The Root Beer Lady", by Bob Cary. The local Prairie Ecology Bus presented a program titled, "Snowshoeing, a Winter Recreational Skill", which covered topics that coincided with the book. 25 copies of the book were purchased and distributed to community members. When the program had ended several were collected back and a book club kit created for system-wide use.
