Omiyage Envelopes -- Make reusable gift holders, stitched gift card envelopes, and tiny bags in the kawaii Japanese style with the Textile Center. Supplies provided. Fri., Jan. 18, 1–3 pm , Burnhaven . Cozy Stitches -- Hand stitch a monogrammed cozy for your cell phone, iPad or e-reader, using reverse applique. Make something practical and beautiful while learning embroidery stitches. Thu., Jan. 31, 6–8 pm , Galaxie . X Marks the Spot Cross Stitch -- Learn cross stitch basics to create a tiny piece of embroidered art. Design your own saying on a sampler or “8-bit” character for your favorite video game geek. Tue., Feb. 12, 1–3 pm , Wentworth . Crocheted Flowers -- Learn basic crochet stitches and make a handful of cheery flowers. Stitch on a pin and wear your spring blossoms out on the town. Wed., March 13, 6–8 pm , Wescott . Knitted Bookmarks -- Learn to knit or brush up on your skills. Start your first knit and purls in class and take home a set of needles and yarn to start your new knitting addiction. Sat., April 6, 1–3 pm , Inver Glen . Needle Felted Applique -- Learn how to to attach wool, yarn or felt to a flat piece of felt or wool fabric, so you can decorate clothing or other pieces. Thu., March 21, 6–8 pm, South St. Paul
