Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
Teens will use their imaginations and quick-thinking skills to explore aspects of theater through the guidance of a professional educator.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Comments from hosting librarian: The instructor did a lot of talking, suggesting, etc. I would have preferred she give them maybe 3 or 4 choices for the fast and slow songs and then got to work learning them, rather than spend more than 30 minutes just listening and talking about the show. The class could also be taught in a way that would let the teens help decide the movements since it appeared the instructor was just making them up on the spot, not leading them through a pre-choreographed routine. We had 4/5 registered teens show up.
