Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Older teens and adults will exercise their comedy writing skills through the guidance of a professional stand-up comedian.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Comments from hosting librarian: Scott Novotny and his Chihuahua, Pepe, amused an audience of eighteen people while teaching them about Stand up and Improv comedy. Scott was very friendly and relaxed, and he drew out the audience members, many of them also Stand up and Improvisational comedians and comedy writers. One man has even written material for Garrison Keillor. Scott shared his successes and his mistakes that became teaching moments, and a great time was had by all!
