132 people attended four performances at the Lyric Arts Theater, receiving the script and study guide beforehand, attending a pre-show discussion, the performance, and a post-show talkback. 100% of respondents reported their Page and Stage experience as excellent or good (78% as excellent; 22% as good). 96% of respondents found the study guide useful. 100% of respondents rated the facilitator as excellent or good (95% as excellent; 5% as good).

Attendees reported the program gave them insight and an in-depth look into the characters and it helped them better understand the play. Others said it gave cultural context and background for the play and that it helped to understand the time period, the characters’ behavior and so much more. Other comments included:
"Encouraged me to do further research into the story and it got me thinking about other things than the basic story," "I loved the history information," "The background information on the writer and composers enriches the experience of reading and attending the play, " and "It was helpful and interesting to have the historical perspective of the play.
