Join local authors and publishers for Dakota County Library's first annual Local Author Fair. David Housewright, award-winning mystery author, will be the keynote speaker and The Loft Literary Center will present workshops to help you learn The Nuts & Bolts of Picture Book Writing and Tips for Publication. Local adult, teen and children's authors will be on hand to sell and sign their books and visitors can enter a drawing for free books. Light refreshments will be provided.

Excellent attendance for the two Loft workshops that were part of our Local Author Fair. The first was standing room only; the second about 2/3 full. Attendees found the information extremely useful. Presenters were honest and helpful in answering questions from the audience.
