100 – 150 movies will be hosted at library locations from 2/18/12 - 2/17/14.
Libraries will have the opportunity to host movie series that will attract repeat attendees.
Libraries will have the opportunity to host films that will attract new patrons.Libraries will have the opportunity to form new partnerships with community organizations.

Measurable Outcome(s)

21 films were shown in the first quarter of the year. Community partners included Friends of Hennepin County Library & Young Achievers. Selected comments from librarians, "Patron said, 'This was fun! We should do it again!' A parent in attendance said that she’d like to see this happen more often. "Several people prior to the event told me they were very excited about seeing this movie and were glad the library was offering it 'for free.' I mentioned that the movie license was paid for by MN Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund."
