Over 1000 fairgoers visited the Read & Ride Day activities and performances. There were five on-stage performances and repeat visits from TPT's Princess Presto and Super Why throughout the day on stage. The Libraries of Minnesota scavenger hunt was a hit with families. The book giveaway and signing were popular with the adults, as were the "I Got Carded" buttons given to those showing their library cards. Brain fitness games and the trivia wheel drew older children and teens as well as adult. Families with younger children interacted with partners and enjoyed making their story-on-a-stick. The event was successful in cementing partnerships new and old. Minitex, though an old partner in library collaboration was a new partner for this event and a successful one. TPT was also a new partner and welcome addition to the event.
