Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will receive a personal faces card to take home and draw, color and decorate as they see themselves.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Parents particularly expressed enthusiasm about Michelle's ability to engage both young and old with her creative imagery. Michelle connects with strong shapes and color. One mother said the "author/illustrator speaks a child's language." Faces...Who Are We? demonstrated individuality and the beauty of oneself. Michelle, whose art is used in play therapy sessions, believes art is an essential component of healing at all levels of life. Her hands-on demonstrations gave children an opportunity to connect with an imaginative and joyful place. She helped audience feel the joyfulness creating your own art can bring. Michelle also shared simple tools and materials to bring art to life wherever you may be.
