Preschool children and their families will connect characters and events in stories to true facts about the natural world in Scott County and its relationship to Minnesota history.
Measurable Outcome(s)
286 preschoolers and family members attended the four programs, about 2-3 times as many as normally attend a preschool story program. The eleven copies of the featured books have been checked out a total of 33 times since the programs. Staff received very positive feedback from the children and families, particularly regarding the live owl and hawk.
